Israeli Critically Wounded in Stabbing Attack at West Bank Mall
A 40-year-old Israeli male on Sunday was critically woulded in a stabbing attack at the entrance to a mall near the West Bank’s Gush Etzion Junction.
The assailant, a 17-year-old male from the West Bank village of Yatta near Hebron, was shot at the scene by a civilian and is currently in moderate condition. Security forces are currently operating in the mall and around the area.
The Israeli victim was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem with wounds to his upper body.

The mall is close to the Kfar Etzion settlement and other settlements in the Gush Etzion settlement bloc.
If it is confirmed that the stabbing is a terror attack, it will be the second such incident to have occurred in the West Bank over the past few months.
