Israel Strikes Hamas Outposts After Intercepting Gaza Rocket

Israel's Iron Dome air defense system intercepted a projectile launched from the Gaza Strip on Thursday, the Israeli army said, adding that it caused no injuries or property damage.

Rocket sirens blared in several Gaza border communities beforehand, and several locals reported hearing explosions shortly after, the Israeli army Spokesperson's Unit said.

In response, the Israeli army said it struck two Hamas outposts in the northern Gaza Strip. Palestinian media outlets confirmed the strikes, reporting no casualties.
