Holocaust Forum Updates: Leaders Arrive in Israel for Auschwitz Ceremony

An airlift of presidents, prime ministers and royalty from around the world continue to arrive in Israel Wednesday in Israel for the World Holocaust Forum in Jerusalem, marking the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.

French President Emmanuel Macron, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, as well as the presidents of Bulgaria, Romania, Finland, Georgia, Cyprus and Bosnia and Herzegovina have already arrived in Israel.

Also scheduled to participate in the forum are Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Emmanuel Macron, U.S. Vice President Mike Pence, U.S. President Donald Trump’s senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner. All the leaders of the European Union will attend, as will Britain’s Prince Charles and other heads of state.
