Gaza Flare-up: Israeli Army Strikes Hamas Targets; Dozens of Rockets Launched at Israel

Israel’s army renewed air strikes in the Gaza Strip on Saturday after 31 rockets were fired from the Strip overnight, the military said. The strikes represent Israel’s largest daytime attack on Gaza since the 2014 war.

Israel targeted some 40 Hamas targets in Saturday’s strikes, including tunnels, logisitical centers and the organization’s Beit Lahia battalion headquarters. A Palestinian was moderately wounded by shrapnel during an Israeli strike in Gaza, the Health Ministry in Gaza reported Saturday.
