For Second Day in a Row, Gaza Rockets Fired at Southern Israel, Army Says

Two rockets were fired Tuesday from the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army said. One of them was intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense system.

There were no reports of damage or casualties, apart from a woman who was injured rushing to a shelter in the southern Israeli city of Sderot, near the Gaza border.

On Monday evening, another rocket was launched from Gaza into Israel and fell in an open area, without even setting off alarms in nearby border communities.

This was the first rocket fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel since two rockets were launched in the direction of the city of Be'er Sheva on November 15.
