The IDF attacked a tunnel in the southern Gaza Strip and several other targets of Hamas in the Gaza Strip early Saturday morning, according to a statement by the IDF Spokesperson.
Among other things, a Hamas training camp and a number of locations, used to prepare incendiary balloons, were attacked. 31 rockets were fired from Gaza into Israel overnight and six of them were intercepted by Iron Dome. No injuries were reported.
Rocket alarms were heard early Saturday morning in the Sha’ar Hanegev, Eshkol, Sderot, Ashkelon and Ashkelon Beach area. Residents in the area reported explosions. The Eshkol Regional Council said that there were no reports of casualties in the area of the council and instructed the residents to stay close to protected areas.

Palestinian sources reported that the IDF attacked a Hamas position in the area of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported there.

On Friday, an IDF officer was moderately wounded by a grenade thrown by demonstrators in the northern Gaza Strip. In response to the throwing of the grenade, the IDF opened fire in the direction of the march.
Earlier Friday, a 15-year-old Palestinian boy was killed by IDF fire, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, which reported 220 casualties in all. The boy, Osman Rami Hilas, was seriously wounded east of Gaza City and his death was determined at the hospital. The death toll in Gaza has risen to 138 since the beginning of the Friday demonstrations.
